This guide answers one question: how do you move through the building and read it in the 3D Viewer? It assumes you have read the Platform Guide — the ideas every module shares live there. Here you will learn how to go anywhere in the twin, how to change what the same place shows you, and how to inspect what you find.

The viewer at a glance

The 3D Viewer is the stage every other module performs on: a photoreal, navigable replica of your real asset, from the city around it down to a single component, held in one continuous scene. What you see is not a diagram — it is the certified model of your building with live readings attached. Because every place in the building exists here, anything the platform knows can be shown where it belongs — which is why the other modules keep returning to this one. The film below shows the viewer in the real product.

The digital twin

TwinMS is built around a digital twin — a live, navigable replica of your real building, created from laser scans and the same certified engineering model the building was constructed from. The twin is not an illustration. Every floor, room and major asset exists in it, and live readings from the building attach to the places they come from. When something changes in the building, the twin shows it; where control is enabled, operators with the right permissions can act on selected building systems from the twin. Every screen in TwinMS is a different way of reading this one model.

Moving through the building

The 3D Viewer holds the whole estate in one continuous scene, so moving through it is navigation, not loading. The Space Navigator lists every level and every room — searchable, and one click away: from the street outside to a named room inside without a loading screen, or from the pump room to the rooftop plant in seconds. You can walk a space as if you were there, or jump directly to the place a reading, alert or asset points to. Wherever you arrive, what you see is the current state of that place.

Changing what you see

The same place can answer different questions. Realistic is the photoreal view, for orientation. Wireframe shows structure. Thermal overlays live temperature, for comfort. And the System Filter strips architecture away layer by layer — turn the ceiling off, and the lights, HVAC, pumps and sensors above the tiles appear as they actually run, live in 3D rather than as a diagram. Switching modes never moves you: you stay in the same place, asking a different question.

Inspecting what you find

Everything major in the scene can be opened. Click a pump and its record appears in place — specifications, operational status and live readings. From there the rest of the platform is one step away: the asset's full record lives in Assets Portfolio, and any alert it raises is carried by Alerts & Maintenance.
